Researching like a mad man because I'm new to e-commerce. I have some imported products to sell online I think will be home runs, but I'm new. I want to learn how to design a site so I can freely change and improve my own business site once it's online. I have no desire at this point to be a web developer for hire in the future. I'm doing a lot of learning at this point and Yahoo Stores are looking pretty interesting, The Million Dollar question is can I use SEO strategies I'm learning about with a Yahoo store, and how is their site builder software, is it Mickey Mouse, or can I Keep it Simple Stupid and with the right design still manage to do well with SEO?

Yahoo stores are no different than any other site as far as what works for SEO.

The Site Builder program is OK to learn how, but yes it is basically Mickey Mouse. I use Frontpage 2003 for most non-store item related stuff and just use the Yahoo Store Manager for most products.

And BTW, there is a non-commercial yahoo store forum, but I cannot post the URL here, but a google search will find it. Always lots of good info there about anything to do with yahoo stores.
