Redirect to secure site using frame forwarding

For example's sake, I have a site called widgets.com. I need to redirect users from widgets.com to a second site called buy-widgets.com. This redirect needs to be done using frame forwarding, so that the widgets.com url shows in the browser (instead of buy-widgets.com).

buy-widgets.com is secured with a certificate registered to buy-widgets.com. When users are redirected from widgets.com to buy-widgets.com, will a warning notice about the certificate be displayed? Or will the redirect appear seamlessly and not noticed by the user?

Thanks in advance for any help.

"will a warning notice about the certificate be displayed"

the redirect shouldn't put a notice up.

Unless your already in a secrue area then yes it will throw up a bad notice and suggest the user to abort the order. The certificate and the web address are a mismatch...

As long as the web address the customer is on and the certificate match you are ok.

Masking the url still does not change the actual url.
