Verisign SSL

Which one to choose?

I want verisign SSL, not because I think it is good but I am looking for quick reconition.
Their standard version for 399 has minimum 40 of SSL, where as there other 2 certificates are 128 with or without a green bar. I though 400 dollars would have gotten a descent ssl certificate? Can anyone help elaborate? Verisign tried to push me on their 1500/year cert.

Id say it was just a scam, cert issuers decided that getting a few hundred dollars a year from every secure site is no longer enough, so they invented bling bling certs they can charge you more for.
