Can I assign free shipping and handling to a product?

Hello,

I have a website using the OSCommerce system, and I have a question about free shipping and handling. I have products on the website which I want to offer with free shipping and handling. What is the best method for achieving this? I would rather not offer a coupon code, as this leads to customer error (they don't use the coupon code and are charged for S&H).

Is there a way to assign free shipping and handling to a product?
