Has anyone found paper that is as lightweight as possible but doesn't feel cheap when you hold it in your hand? Especially at Staples.

For what application?

80 lb copy stock here, buy it by the case. :-) Has a sheen finish and is dimensionally stable. If you go below 80 lb it starts to take on the "TP effect."

Hi Bill,

The application is the receipt that will be included with orders. I'm deadly close to 1 pound on my most popular category of items.

Good to know on the 80 lb.

Hmmm, I've got a ream of Staples "Heavyweight Printing Paper" here and it says it is 28 lb.

The heavier the paper, the higher the weight, not the other way around.

If i wiped my butt with 80 lb toilet paper, I would need a ream of preparation H :)

lgn1,

That's why I'm confused. rocknbil says anything less than 80 lb is like TP, yet I have "heavyweight" paper here that is 28 lb.

Extracts foot from mouth

DOH! And I spent 10 years in printing . . . . 80 lb is bottom end for business cards. I just checked our box, it's 20 lb. 92 bright. Sorry folks, another Darwin Awards moment . . . courtesy of rockndope :-(

Ah that makes sense. So you think anything less than 20 lb is too TP?
