Sorry if I repeat myself, but my post from yesterday disappeared somewhere.

Anyway, please help me on that.

Our site is new and it is not positioned anywhere near the top search results.
Can anyone suggest / recommend any tools or programs or ways of checking where is the site positioned in search engine results?

I tried to find it manually but I gave up after n-th page of results.
I also tried google monitor but somehow it doesn’t return the position. I can’t use google rankings because they stopped issuing SOAP API keys and they are necessary for this service.

Can you please tell me how do you check position of your site in search engines?

Thanks a lot!

Thank you, but I know this post already. The only website that worked returns only 50 first result, unfortunately I am not anywhere near that (yet).
Thank you anyway.

If you're not in the first 100 results you don't really need to know your position. What you need to do is to get crackin' on SEO/SEM for your website. IMHO of course! :)

Yes, I know I have to work on SEO and it is work in progress. Still long way to go ;-(
But being able to check website position, even if it is somewhere far, would help me to monitor and evaluate the optimization process.
