Drop Shipping Fees

Can anyone help me out with suggestions. I am so tired of either joining drop shipper sites like Doba or trying out free trials to look at drop shipper items and pricing just to find out there Shipping Fees and Handeling Fees cost so much that it pushes the items wholesale price over the retail sales price.

Are there any reputable drop shippers out there that charge normal fed-x, ups, express mail shipping rates. I can take a few dollar per order bump, but to ship a 45.00 gift basket or over night a 49.99 retail order of flowers the drop shippers want to charge $40 to ship it.

And doba, dont let me get started on there shipping and handeling fees.

I find with doba the item prices we are paying "wholesale", are more then you pay for them retail on Amazon, ebay and overstock.com. And if they are a little cheaper, buy the time you add doba's shipping and handeling charges to the order, it costs more then retail.

Not to mention add on top of it, the listing fees for websites and fees you have to pay for paypal/merchant accounts.

Is there really a way to make a living online using a drop shipping company?

Help

No.

They make a secure profit, you compete with every other seller who uses them.

If there's a problem, it's your problem.

You cannot win. They cannot lose.

Thank you. I guess I already knew that. What do you think about domain name & hosting resellers? You can sign on through reputable companies although these type of companies seem to be a dime a dozen....but u actually can compete price wise.

Most dropshipping sites are run by middlemen who are marking up the wholesale price. No, you cannot make any money selling their goods.

There are plenty of merchants making big money selling dropshipped goods, but it takes a lot of research and time to figure out what to sell and which vendors will work with you and will be reliable.

Worldwide Brands is a good place to start. It features genuine wholesalers and dropshippers. There is a subscription fee, but you're at least paying for solid research, not a scam.

Even using WW Brands, you'll find that many products just aren't worth having dropshipped because of the slim markup, that many dropshippers charge fairly large fees, and that there may be few if any dropshippers who will work with online stores for the products you want to sell.

Like anything else, it's a business. It takes work. You can't just subscribe to a site and watch the orders roll in.

Search: drop shippers

There are still many good ones out there.

Compete? Yes.

Non-competitive items have no sales either.

Its all hard work my friend. Have you considered location some niche markets before contacting drop shippers. We do provide some drop shipping services but we charge and our charges are mostly higher than every day items. All my customers have very niche products. Just to give you a hint, think Japan and see what gets imported from there. There are many ways to make $$ but you have to come up with your own niche products.
