What is the best way to get another website (one within your niche) to sell your product? Blindly email them "hey, I think our products would fit the customers on your site"? try to get their phone # and cold call them to check out your product and list it on their site?

note: this is not asking for a "link" or "join my affiliate program". I am trying to figure out the best way to contact e-commerce stores to carry my product on their site (I will drop ship, or they can stock up on inventory from me and ship themselves).

do i mention our rates in this contact? a sample product?

Just curious what has worked for others...

Actually, we are a website that sells drop-shipped products.

I'd say it's not that important how to contact web site and what to say. Websites would be happy dealing with you if your offer match their business model.

Some prefer to deal with big wholesalers only, some are happy to deal with smaller sellers, some are overloaded with their businesses and wouldn't notice your offer.

So, just contact them and ask, and don't hesitate to repeat if there is no answer.

P.S. We would be happy to receive a free sample from you :-)

A few weeks ago I receive some such mails, because I found my site as part of an obscure new drop-shipping portal. I never registered there, so I assume the website owner had run a bot in order to NOT make his site look so empty in the beginning;)

Nevertheless, I guess some such portals do exist, which make up a serious plattform for such cooperations.
