Hi guys

A client of mine has an existing website that shows all of his products on individual pages with specs and images. It looks and works great.

However now we want to add an eCommerce facility to the site using WorldPay as the payment processor.

I have looked at some shopping carts but most seem to be actual shop building and management solutions.

All I want to do is add a quantity box to each product page in a HTML form (along with price and description in hidden fields) that can then be added to the cart using the forms submit button. Then when the user has finished shopping and is ready to pay they can then enter the shopping cart (which has tallied up the total) when confirmed the user will submit the order to WorldPay for processing.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

I would look at cart32 it is easy simple can add Google checkout and Paypal as these are built into the cart.

I am pleased with it been using this cart now for 4 years 3 on a shared cart and 1 after I purchased it.

It sounds like an offsite cart would work fine for your client.

Several of my clients use Mal's, at mals-e.com. The basic cart is free (or $24 per if you want to use real-time credit card processing gateways), and you can use a simple "Buy Now" link or set up an HTML form.

I've found it to be reliable and secure, and it has a decent set of features. Initial setup is not as user-friendly as that of some other carts, but once it's set up, it's just a matter of the client copying and pasting links.

I'm looking for something similar. 1ShoppingCart seems to be an attractive option for this, and of course paypal.

I'll second the Mal's recommendation. I've been using their free version for a couple of years and never once encountered any problems. It's easy to code and set up too - gives access to a basic button maker, has a helpful forum and interacts with a number of payment methods.

The Metalinks or CandyPress cart might be a good option for you as well

Mal's has been around a long time and has a good reputation. I met Mal himself for lunch a few years ago and he is a very nice guy too.

Another option thet works in the same way is Romancart.
