need a short rant

Got a message through the Contact Us form this morning from someone asking about transportation from her town to the airport. I replied with a link to our site that contains all the airport transortation information and also suggested that she might want to just take a taxi becuase her plane leaves so early and the first scheduled bus might be cutting things too close.

Just got a response from her that basically and sarcastically thanked me for being lazy and not helping her at all. She then informed me that she would ask someone else because a taxi would be too expensive.

Well EXCUSE me missy! I guess I missed the memo where I had been demoted to your personal, unpaid, research assistant who is expected to drop all his urgent projects, call across 8 time zones and wake some local people up to find out the same information that is provided on the page I gave you!
