Hi everyone, I am at a loss and wondered if someone could help me out. On or about June 1st I stopped getting emails from Paypal to my domain(s) - they are running on a VPS over at midphase. For some reason, I can't get any emails from Paypal - nothing is even showing in my var/log/exim*.* logs when I look for emails that have tried to be sent over.

I have tried contacting Paypal and the girl told me to clear my cookies, set the setting for getting html emails to plain text and then call back - are you KIDDDING ME? lol.

Then the supervisor I talked to basically couldn't do anymore and was not helpful. I have no spamcop running or anything and I can't see where they have tried to email me and the email bounced or anything. I even went as far as making a dummy php page and ran the mail() command using the address that paypal uses (service@paypal.com) as the from address and ran that from my own server and I got the message.

I just can't get anything from Paypal.com - if I use another domain that is not on my vps I get the emails no problem - midphase claims it's nothing they did but I just find it weird that I get emails on other accounts and domains that aren't on my VPS no problem -

At a complete loss....and this is really hurting me and my business - any ideas anyone? Please... :)

Cheers! Matthew

You need to move your email account to a server that has no blockade. Mail blocks are not easy to solve, usually because of blacklisted domains.

yeah I just created a gmail account and set it to forward to the domain on my host - I think you are right, I would never be able to figure this out and paypal was of zero help.
