I read a thread on this forum about a particular kind of service. Unfortunately the thread was closed and I didn't have the chance to ask about this service. The thread could be found here [webmasterworld.com...] Where can I find this siteclip application?
Can anybody lead me on that one? It seems kind of interesting to me.

Thanks a lot! I googled for the name of the company and I found them. Really nice stuff going on there.

What's so interesting about them? Share some thoughts.

Well, you could use it for advertising, for private messaging, you can offer video profiles to your site users, but I am interested mainly in the video sharing opportunities. These are some of the things that I have learnt about it. I will try to get in touch with them and ask for more details. I definitely want to try it. I am thinking of starting up a social video network that will have shared videos on it instead of text messages. But I still haven't found the way to develop it from this point on. Any ideas from you guys?

Have you considered using You Tube for that? Give it a go!

You Tube doesn't work for this.

Sounds like you should be making a facebook app if you want to do video messaging in a social network.

I believe that GC is not simply after video profiles and stuff like it. He wants something bigger. Am I right?

Well, basically I am after the video sharing possibilities. But the thing is that I want to provide the users not only with the sharing stuff but with the opportunity to record the videos on my site. That is why I started this thread in the first place, because I found this other thread and some comments on seetheface and their tools. I wanted some comments on these tools from people that are experienced in that field.

I don't know, it's all kinda weird to me with the two api keys that they have. One's for bloggers using wordpress the other one's for another product. What's this plugin supposed to do anyway? I myself don't have an explanation of that.

Does that mean that you've chosen to use seetheface and their tools?

Do you have any other tools up your sleeve like an alternative to that one?

Not really. For the moment I am hanging on to seetheface and their applications. I would be happy, though, if anybody can point me other solutions. It is always good to have several options to choose from, isn't it?

you know, I recently read a post that was making a comparison of seetheface and some other tool called userplane but I never got to know the pros and the cons of each one. Maybe we can ask the guys here.

The best way to do that is to visit both sites and see for yourself and compare the performance of each one.

What's to be checked there? seetheface is way cheaper than userplane.

I have already checked that. I am talking about the small details that make every tool what it is.

you know what GrandmasCookies, apart from the sharing deal you can put a section on your site where the visitors put their videos with their success stories and experience. This could be a good approach for increasing your site's traffic.

you know what I found some cool stuff about seetheface. They allow you to record videos on their site - awesome :), as for userplane they don't, or at least I haven't found where.
