Looking for a good, cheap processor?

I am used to using Paypal as my processor. I am looking to use a different company. Anyone have any ideas? It seems hard to find a company who is not charging a huge monthly fee or transaction fee.

No one really can help you unless they know what country you are you unfortunately.

if you are in the United States, a merchant account with an electronic payment gateway might be a good option for you. usually you can start with 2.19% discount rate and the gateway should be a flat fee with no extra transaction costs

Not sure what you consider to be a "huge" fee. We pay 1.2%, which is actually less than what most of the CC companies, like VISA are charging. And AMEX just went up again, to around 2.4% for us.
