Paypal check woes

Paypal now allows to withdraw funds, however the amount should be more than $150. I was trying to withdraw funds today but was surprised that the address field should be 35 characters or less, or the transfer is not processed. Paypal should understand that addressing schemes in India are not as in US or Europe. Instead they are quiet complicated so they very well go over 35 characters. :-(

I had the same problem last month with Paypal for Japan. They wanted my account name in the local script (Katakana), but my Japanese bank account is in 'Romaji' - the English alphabet. The field for my account name refuses to accept anything other than Katakana.

I contacted Paypal support, asking them to do some kind of manual override, so that the account name would be correct. They said it wasn't possible. Nor is it possible to withdraw to a bank account in another country, except for the US. I don't have a US bank account...
