Hi, i am new to this forum and i have a few questions that desperately need some replies and advices. I recently opened up a store/website using the yahoo!e commerce solution. I have successfully purchase domains name and designed the site and everything seemed to be working out fine UNTIL i relaize the payment(merchant) option of paypal and chase paymentech is only built for US based companies. I am a canaidian and same with the company.
My question is that:
1. If US bank account is required, can a fellow canadian like me open up a bank accoutn and register my business in US via internet/phone in order to subsribe to paypal merchant or chase paymentech in order to complete my website?

2. What other merchant accounts(canadian) out there supports the yahoo! FDMS nashville platform? becasue this is another option for the yahoo e commerce provide. (however, i dunno if its also for US only..)

thanks for the help. greatly appreciated

I would call Yahoo and ask them as this would be the best and quckest place to find a possible answer

Yes there are a number of them since the company that you mentioned is pretty large.

Just search for that term in your favorite search engine for some names of companies. There are a few companies that will be able to support you but usually there is a limit of $10,000 a month because of your location. The discount rate would probably be about 4% as well
