If you had the option to own Storefront's source code or Volusion's who would you choose?

I'm close to making a decision on which shopping cart software to purchase but am stuck on deciding.
Thanks

For any ecommerce software choice, I would check out on the following parameters and then make the decision. sorry for the verbosity, but hope it helps :-)

Startup Issues
----------------
Is there an easy setup method?
Pricing: Monthly, Setup, % or fixed per transaction
Is a free trial possible?
Is domain, SSL included?
Customisability of look n feel - How many themes are provided and how easy is it to customise it?
How good are the help files and documentation?

Product admin issues
--------------------
Tools availability like catalog creation (WYSIWYG HTML editing)How much depth is allowed in the product category structure?
How much customisation of product data is allowed thro attributes etc?
Does it allow export, import of product data?
Automatic integration into eBay, Comparison shopping engines etc?

Order Processing admin issues
-----------------------------
What are the Order Management functionality provided?
Are shipping methods customisable?
Is the support for taxes, payments systems sufficient?
Is their integration with accounting systems?
Does it support backorders?
Have they provided fraud management options?
Is a coupon system incorporated?

Marketing issues
----------------
Is it search engine friendly?
Is cross-selling possible?
Are their enough features to help run a Promotion and do merchandising?
Tools availability for analytics, marketing (email etc)

Additional Goodie features
--------------------------
Web 2.0 features like for integrating user generated content wherever possible like reviews, ratings, discussions etc

I don't have any experience with Storefront but I know many merchants with Volusion stores and they're all very happy. I almost went with Volusion for MY store however, I wasn't interested in purchasing a license and I didn't like that you had to pay extra to disable the Volusion link in the footer.

The ecartreviews forum would be a good place to visit for merchant reviews on the available carts.
