Hello Everyone

Im having big problem coz i need to buy some e-books and software packages and the merchant site accepts payment via paypal only, but unfortunately paypal does not have the country where i live rite now in their country list and im unable to pay even using my credit card

Is there anyway to pay for a service or a product using paypal, from a region/country that paypal does not have their services..?

Is it possible to buy/exchange paypal from a 3rd party and use it to pay for a service or product..?

Need some solutions urgently

Rather then trying to find out why PayPal does not work, why don't you do the obvious and look for other solutions?

Other solutions include wire transfer, sending an international money order, sending cash, etc.

Unless, achemm...you want to use PayPal for some reason your not telling us...

Well i would love to go for other solutions but what am i suppose to do if the Merchant does not support anything else other than paypal, Maybe he's unaware that paypal is not a global payment processor and as result he's losing lot of sales and potential customers

And do you think its really practical to send a expensive wire transfer for a product which sell for $1-10 ...? lol

and do i have to go through all that hell by sending money orders to buy something online..? there was a thing called "convenient online shopping experience" and thanks to paypal its not there, and the convenient online shopping experience has become a total nightmare for many online consumers.

Either paypal should go global or either the merchants should use a global payment processor

Have you contacted the merchant about the problem?

He probably doesn't care about shipping international. Honestly selling a $10 book and having to mail it from the USA to Germany probably isn't going to be profitable.

When I came across this problem I found a simple solution. I spent my money elsewhere.

Well i was looking to purchase this software and theres nothing to ship, its a downloadable software, and i have pop the Q why isn't he using a global payment option, And then he was like , well other than paypal we accept Egold lolzz

And when i tried to get Egold it was a even worse nightmare coz u have to go searching Tons of Egold exchange services since Egold it self doesn't provide real time funds uploading or even credit processing, so its really a waste of time to use egold, and even more u have to pay additional money as the Egold Exchange commissions, (that's insane)

so i said Forget it i rather live without the stupid software, but i manage to got it somehow from another vendor since he was using both 2co and Moneybookers which was very convenient for me to make the payment using my CC, no hazel and no delays, no wasting time, no worries and its real-time payment which is globally accepted (Bravoooooo)

Thanks for all ur Replies,

But i would like to note that, If anyone doing business online, pls choose a payment processor which is globally accepted, it will be good for you and your business in da long run, since you can get more sales and more clients

Thanks

You also can get more fraud. It's really a trade-off and not worth the hassle for many people. And I hate to be bias but many countries outside the USA have HUGE fraud rates.
