Is the Amazon Astore any less vulnerable to parasites

I removed most of my amazon links previously. My suspicion was that parasites/scumware were grabbing most of the commissions.

I took a look at amazon's astore. I was wondering if anyone has figured out if the astore is less vulnerable to parasites and scumware.

thanks

How do your commissions get stolen exactly?

Also does this happen if you are using a shopping cart system for your Amazon commission buyers.

cheers

From threads about "missing" commissions on the Amazon boards I would guess that the OP has a mismatch between orders and shipments. Amazon simply don't advise if an order is cancelled prior to shipping. This is a particular issue or pre-orders as customers find cheaper sources close to the release date.

There might be more to it than that. Check out this thread, which even gives a bit of explanation on how they do it:

I don't know specifically about the astore. There's an entire forum on the associate's board dealing with astores, so you might find some answers there.

I have regular Amazon links on a few site and they have pretty decent conversion rates compared to other affiliate programs selling comparable products. I don't know if I am losing commissions to parasite or scumware, but I know on certain products I won't make any more money by using other affiliate programs.
