Getting More Traffic

I've started up an affiliate program website and want more traffic. Anyone got any good suggestions for getting the numbers up?

And remember if you go to PPCs (pay per clicks) to watch your ad budget carefully. Good advice all over WEBMASTER WORLD about the amount of click fraud on PPCs that can run your costs up astromomically.

Generally it seems, you are most susceptible to fraud if you're in the top five or better listings on OV and Google, and others- as well as being a site where frequent bidding wars occur on those PPCs.

Most PPCs are aware of this problem and "reportedly" have ways to identify fraud on their systems. But from posts on WEBMASTERS WORLD, none have solved the problem, or given much satisfaction to their customers.

You are probably going to experience around 20 -30% fraud click throughs, which even though that seems high, many advertisers are willing to tolerate, as all those folks are still in business (Google Ad Words and OV, and those who bid there are still in business.

Be very careful of cheaper PPCs like 7search, Enhance, FindWhat, epilot, etc. You can find many posts here where people have felt very defrauded by those, and even by Google and OV, though Google seems to have the fewest reports on WEBMASTER WORLD of such problems.
