Hey all,

I've recently added a small social bookmark toolbar to each product page on my ecommerce store's catalog. Basically, this let's any potential viewers digg products that they like, are on sales, ect.

Has anyone had any real success doing this? I look around but I still do not see any of the major players using web 2.0 methods in the shopping experience.

I tried this for the past five months; had a toolbar with the popular social bookmarking sites, allowing the customer to add my pages with a single click.

I recently removed the toolbar after seeing no usage; my customers simply were not interested in digg'ing my widgets or my sale items.

The Web 2.0 paradigms don't appear to fit neatly into the online shopping experience.
