I need swiftly implementing a simple and easy gateway to a client’s cart that allows for a bunch of gateways including Paypal
The fees seem lesser that my usual authorize.net
As such they would like getting that one.

Any experience with it? Thanks

Each gateway, LinkPoint, Payflow, Authorize.net, will provide you sample code. LinkPoint will give you a free store as well to use for demoing everything.

If you go to paypal's website and click on merchant services and then drill down to Payflow, you will find sample source code.

Keep in mind that Payflow gives you free transactions - usually up to 1,000, while Authorize.net will charge you an extra transaction fee on top of what the merchant account provider charges you. LinkPoint will not charge any extra transaction fees.

You can also go to oscommerce's website and take a look at their mods for the gateways as well to get an idea of the code

Thanks,
My question is for payflow in its whole and not about code install.
when I am in a situation where cost is a concern
I setup and customize a CubeCart
although I almost always use Authorize.net (I am an agent)
Here I was looking for that client at a less expensive alternative.

So I am interested in any experience about it.

Looking at their site - it says it has some integration methods for some gateways but I could not find a list. Usually most carts work on the database - you enter your MID / TID / store number, PEM, etc in it and then it has the gateway functionality built it

It used to be called VeriSign PayFlow Pro before Paypal bought VeriSign. It was reliable then, it is reliable now. A little pricey as far as Payment Gateways go, but it would be ideal if you have a high transaction volume.

It depends: Payflow Pro is about $50.00 with 1,000 free transactions. If you want to use any of their security features - that is about $30.00 a month. Their recurring billing is about $25.00 a month as well.

LinkPoint - about $25.00 a month, no transaction fees. They charge for AVS ($.05) but they provide currently VBV / MSC and another security product LinkShield for free.

You have the prices you charge for Authorize.net so you can easily do a price comparison for your client.

Of course you have all the merchant account fees and transactions as well

If the gateway is an issue, LinkPoint is the cheapest. It does not charge anything for transactions and it is only a monthly fee. They have a free recurring billing module and also offer other fraud prevention product as well.
