Hi,

Aftering reading the SSL threads [webmasterworld.com...]

Verisign is charging 2.5K for this "High Authentication, Green Address Bar" , while geotrust is 899.

How many of you guys have this 'green bar' SSL certificate and if yes, who did you buy it from?

GoDaddy has the same thing for $250 per year. You can purchase today, but they won't actually begin setting them up until the end of January.

It will actually take a critical upgrade from Microsoft before the new trusted roots are installed in IE7. I don't know the procedure for other browsers.

Comodo indicated that they would offer a free upgrade to green bar assurance on all existing high assurance customers, back in 2006. This is one of the main reasons we choose Comodo over the Geotrust and other first tier certificate providers.
