Ecommerce with Barcode Capability

I have a client who has a physical boutique and an ecommerce store. I am looking to upgrade their cart so we can obtain features like integrated shipping features, etc..

Now that I've looked at several carts, I really like what Volusion has to offer. I see that they even offer the ability to scan merchandise and process offline orders as point-of-sale using barcode scanners.

I'm wondering if there are any similar carts, with the ability to scan physical inventory, which reduces online inventory.

Any suggestions?

StoneEdge has a POS feature as part of their Order Manager software. I know they recently did a major revision of the POS features and input forms.
