I'm currently using PayPal on my websites.
It worked very well, until I started selling to other countries (such as Germany, Japan, Latin America).
All the companies I talked to, that offer Direct Debit (for the German customers) required that I will have a bank account in Germany and \ or have my company registered in Germany.
PayPal, for example, never asked for my company to be registered in a specific place (or even registered at all).
Does anyone know of a company that will give me maximum payment methods worldwide, and will not ask for too many requirements from me as a merchant?
I will really appreciate if someone could help me with that.
Thanks, Kevin
direct debits are another matter ..
you might want to talk to HSBC if you are in the UK ( from your use of the phrase direct debits I presume you are? )..you can register yourself as an "ltd" in the UK online ..go search companies house

Thanks for your answers.
I live in Israel (I guess it doesn't help much for this matter...)
If needed, I can open a bank account in the UK or Germany or whereever it is needed.
From what I understand, what my german customers are looking for is direct-debit (instead of credit-card payment).
I have spoken with a company that provides it, but demanded that my company will be registered in Europe, which was a bit of a problem...
I will try to see what world-pay will offer me.
If you have any other idea, please let me know.
Thanks a lot, Kevin
first agent I used had the intro to HSBC ( hence my earlier remark )..they will let your customers do the direct tranfer of funds ..and Uk is in Europe :)
HTH
To open a UK ltd company you need a director ( doesnt have to be British ..or live there ) and a secretary ( again doesnt have to be British ..or live there ..but needs to have very good english language skills ..most company formation agents will provide secretary ..the people I use do so for £50.OO per year ..and another £50.00 per year for the company registered office ) ..set up is under a $100.oo ..add the bank intro and you are running ..:)
edited typos and clarity

- If I use a registration agent, and register my company in the UK, doesn't it mean that I now have to also pay taxes in the UK, and work according to the UK accountancy rules?
- Can you recommend any such agent that I can use?
Thanks again for your help,
Kevin
