I have a site that sells low value goods that are heavy, as a result I ship via royal mails surface option to the states.

Its clearly stated on the front page and under every product theres a link saying click here for shipping information, not only that but before you checkout at the cart theres a paragraph explaining the shipping times.

It even says that if you require faster shipping please order and then email me.

But does anyone read that? Ive had two customers this week badgering for their orders. I.e will it arrive before Christmas?

No.

Cant you read?

What is it with people.

Women's size 12 was once considered the ideal and most dress forms were that size or size 10, as I recall from the distant past.

If you watch 1930s movies you'll sometimes hear comments like "she's a perfect size 12." Chorus girls from those days were really thick in the middle by today's standards (eg. 1929 version of "Singing in the Rain")

---
Way off topic: Male body may have changed more over the years. Have you ever watched 1950s shows very late at night on the Game Show Channel? ("What's My Line" is delightful, btw)

Virtually all male contestants were puny, almost sickly-looking by today's standards. Bud Collier, host of "Beat The Clock" must have weighed less than 150 lbs, and probably wore a size 36 suit.

Today, looking the role of a TV host requires two hours in the gym daily.

Returning to subject... sort of: Apparel sells very well on the web. But, as Wal-Mart said a few years ago, the return rate is very high and can be a profit killer.

Good point about clothing, I ordered my size in trousers from a web site only to find the legs were massive, way to baggy, yet a major high street store I use the size is perfect.

Im fairly tall (6ft +) and have a size 20.5 inch neck, I now have all my shirts made to measure, which is often cheaper than high street bought ones.

However they are the only ones that fit me.

This one seems to be going over their heads this holiday, "Please wait while your order is being procssed. Only hit submit once, multiple submissions can cause duplicate charges"
