How to manage multiple currencies?

My traffic is evenly split over the US and UK. I was wondering how some of you guys manage this? How can i have different currencies without having different pages? And when the user goes to the merchant, the currency might be pounds when they are expecting dollars. How do you set up users expectations for this scenario?

What I would do is have the default currency of your most buyers and just promote the fact that you can do both and don't forget to promote where you ship to with costs.

I am not too sure about the tech side of changing your currency is you are using something like OScommerce then its as easy as switching something on in the admin panel.

Offer the choice of currencies, but make it very clear what currency is being viewed. There are other discussions in this forum on that subject that would be worth looking at (for example [webmasterworld.com...]

Also, bear in mind what currency your payment processor uses as this can affect the final amount the customer is charged if it has to be converted. You will need to ensure the exchange rates are kept up to date.
