A U.S. company's pitch to Canadian doctors to write prescriptions for Internet pharmacies in exchange for big bucks is further evidence the government must shut down the industry, Liberal MP Don Boudria said yesterday.

The Martin (Liberal) government has been making noise about internet pharmacies since being elected, so this isn't "new" news. Looks like they're ratcheting up the rhetoric, though.

It should be curtailed if it going to start to affect domestic availability. The last thing I want is to have my medication in short supply because it went south before I had a chance to buy it.
I am sure there are a lot of people who have made HUGE dollars from this, they can't be expecting it to last forever.

Yeah, as a Canadian, we don't want to see our supplies of medical marijuana dry up :)
