Hello everyone I have an e-commerce site where I sell a flashcard study system. Currently I already have the site designed and I do not want to change it at the moment. So I have some needs specific to my product and I was trying to gauge what I will need.

So here are my issues:

1. The issue is that I don't want to change my website really at all. I’m not to keen on the standard shopping cart "design" which I have seen on most sites. Is there a way to just integrate this into my current design? I would just like to add "Buy it now" buttons and have the ability for people to have a "basket" with the current design scheme. Is this possible, and how so?

2. My shipping is kind of complex:

I sell my product as a "whole set" or you can buy it in sections, in each case here are my shipping needs if you buy a whole set:

Whole Set:
Continental US:
UPS GROUND: $10
SECOND DAY AIR: Capture Real-time rate + markup

AK, HI, PR:
USPS Priority Mail: $15.50

Canada:
USPS Express Mail: $22.50

The problem I foresee is that all of these shipping rules are for the same product and say if someone from HI orders I want them to ONLY see the option for USPS Priority Mail of $15.50. Once again I was wondering the best way possible to customize around my shipping needs.

3. Need to be able to export orders in Tab or CSV format. Also if someone places one order of 3 "products" will this be three line items in the Tab or CSV File? I had experience with another shopping cart and if someone ordered 3 sections it would come out as 3 different line items in the CSV file even though it was only one order.

I hope someone can give me some guidance on this subject!

Sincerely,

Evan Klein

Evan, these seem to be your main concerns.

1. Use your own design,
2. offer multiple shipping options for different zones
3. Export order details.

Have a look at ecommercetemplates shopping cart software. You can use your own design, shipping is flexible and the order details can be downloaded to a csv.

Are you able to edit your shopping options properly to have an if-then statement for people in Hawaii, etc?

Instead of going with $10.00, use $9.99

Its a good marketing ploy that works well.

You can set up different shipping zones for HI and AK for example.

webtress, I highly recommend you X-cart or LiteCommerce shopping cart.
They have the most flexible shipping configuration I ever saw!

Also they supported all major real-time shipping calculation services.

ColinVox - They may be fine carts, but I have found customizing them to be cumbersome and integrating them into current sites even more so. ECT shipping integrates with real-time from all 3 major shippers and offers weight, price or flat rate defined by the sites needs.
