Holiday premiums from the shopping comparison engines?

Which of the engines are adding fees/premium percentages for the holidays?

I've recently heard about Shopzilla adding a premium for holiday transactions. Which engines are doing this, for how long and what is the cost? How does everyone feel about that?

They're maximizing profits. I really don't agree with it. In the overall customer retention scheme, sure they'll make a little money, but customers fed up with getting fleeced at every opportunity will drop them like a hot potato when something comparable comes along.

We suspended our Shopzilla for now. We don't have much there, but I felt like protesting.

Shopzilla, Shopping.com, NexTag, and PriceGrabber all increased cpc prices 20-25% for the holiday shopping season (around nov 1 - end of year).
