You've obviously never tried to hire any with basic spoken and comprehension of spoken commercial english even in anglophone ares such as the cote d'azur..what they claim ..and what they can do are very very far apart ....tried to hire bi-lingual staff ..have the tee-shirt ..

btw ..the answers link is based upon the number who say they were taught english in school ..not the number who can actually speak it ..

suggest we continue in stickies ..we must be boring the non francophone members ..

I stand by my post. The French have nothing to be ashamed about with it comes to speaking English. A few examples, is just that, a few examples. It does not represent the whole country.

A few examples, is n't just a few , it's a few hundred examples...in the cote d'azur alone ..and with what I have experienced elsewhere ..and still do every day .. It does indeed represent the whole country.

I have seen the same thing in other french regions ..been here many years ..interveiwed many supposedly bi-lingual people ..including some Americans who think they speak and understand fluent french ..

and I've lived in many regions ..unlike some ..and I dont get paid to teach english to them ..so I am unbiased as to their supposed prowess..

nor am I trying to paint the country as great in order to get others to invest in it ..

I actually run real bi-lingual sites with real tangible products and services for sale ..not just adsense and affiliate links ..

and didn't start my business yesterday ..

now as I suggested ..you want to keep this up ..do so privately ..
