Has anyone had experience marketing your main book (I’ll call it my Abook), or I guess any product, with a freebie e-book with related content? I’m thinking of doing the give away for a limited time – say 30 days.
The ebook has links to the Abook site and to the corresponding page at amazon.
Did sales of your Abook increase, or are you better off selling them both?
Also how did you promote the freebie? Ebook has it’s own site and is sold on amazon. Abook has it’s own site and sold at amazon. I see ebooks on ebay going for 1 cent, I assume they are doing what I’m thinking of doing. I’m not smart enough to figure out how to rank in G$$gle anymore – I don’t rank in the top 10 for my unique name even though it’s the url – forget anything else.
