E&M Commerce using Debit cards in China - Anyone?

I am about to visit China with the aim of supplying our Mobile Payment technology platform that is built on the interoparable standards as deployed by Visa & MasterCard for E-Commerce.

Does anyone know something about the Chinese Credit & Debit card markets, including Visa / MC China Union Pay (CUP)? Stuff like, how big is the market Cr vs Dr. Is the CUP card a Debit card, and if so is it Signature or PIN use at POS merchants. Can people use their Debit cards (Visa or CUP) for Domestic E-Commerce. Is there any domestic e-commerce happening in China? What is Crime like and the relation to card fraud? Tks, Craig

This information should all be available to you through a Chamber of Commerce or any other economic organization.

All I know is that debit cards are widely used across the country and that this is the most important method of payment, especially online.

Debit card acceptance companies include NPS and IPS.
