WOW.

I did not even hoped it will be available for my country.

The list is extended up to 103 countries!

I was waiting for Google Online Payment will take place over Paypal - but now everything is just great as it is.

Competitors is a great thing for market.
-------- edited --------

I overreacted.
I can NOT receive money to my paypal account.
I can NOT add funds to online account from my bank account or with my credit card.
What a shame.

Basically for me it is just credit card processing system.

So - lets wait further.
May be Google will come earlier.

Paypal has been international for five years. It's just got a little bit *more* international.

But not much, as you've seen :)

You are not right.

Extension of the list from 25 countries
up to 103 is a HUGE move.

But, yeap it is not enough just to make possibility to signup. You should make possibility actually use their service.

Yeah, what does Paypal care if they expand to additional countries? If you, as the seller, ship to an unconfirmed address you are liable for any fraud. Most of these countries do not support AVS (address verification system) so most will be unconfirmed.

There's also a paragraph in the user agreement that if you are the recipient of fraudulent funds, the money can be taken out of your Paypal account. So, if you sell to another business that received fraudulent funds, the money that was paid to you can be taken out of your account.

As Paypal goes international, this type of issue will increase and make using Paypal a risky proposition.

I noticed that they have started accepting Hong Kong Dollars... which is a good currency for people like me. :)

Hey, what's up?

I don't think that PayPal will go international in quite a while, judging by latest interviews with business directors there.

That's excellent news! Does this mean that if you are in one of the recently added countries, you can accept paypal credit card payments? Or is it somehow limited?
