How to give paypal access to a contractor?

Can it be done safely?

I thought there was a way to give someone access to my paypal account without giving them full privileges.

I've had a hard time finding it within paypal, and also a hard time searching for it on the net.

Is this possible? Can I give someone a certain amount of access where they are not allowed to withdraw or spend money?

I need someone to work on the yard a little. They need in the house for a bit, but I don't want to give them a house key.

I'm sure I've read about it... just can't find it anywhere.

A nudge in the right direction would be appreciated. :)

Maybe I misunderstood the question, but the poster was asking about limited access to a live account.

The sandbox sets up full access to a play account, yes?

Yes, you can do that. PayPal calls this feature "Multi-User Access"; look for it in PayPal's help or check out Hack #6 in PayPal Hacks.

The multi-user access must be what I was thinking about. Either will probably do what I need. Thanks all.
