So far I have added my bank account, but when I press the button to setup direct debit, I get an error:
Unfortunately, this bank account cannot be used for Direct Debit because the bank either does not allow electronic Direct Debit or does not allow electronic transmission of the Direct Debit instruction (required to set up Direct Debit).
My bank account is with Nationwide (in the UK). Has anyone else ever had this problem? And do you think it could be caused by not waiting long enough after adding the bank account to paypal (I've only added it yesterday)?
