Paypal down

Paypal has been behaving curiously today

A client just called me to tell me that he got a paypal error while adding items to cart.

Here's the error message:

The PayPal website is currently unavailable. We are actively working to restore access to the site as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
Please check the PayPal Systems Board for possible updates.

This genuinly sucks as a client was trying to place an order for $1800

Seems to be back up now. I was able to sign into my account. Hopefully you can let your customer know.

There was advance notitication for this planned down time, i saw that in my papal account page lower side.

Usually down time does not affect shopping cart. This time it did. shopping cart is back up.
