In the past I have used OSCommerce and x-cart, but after finding many things I disliked about them and after hearing so many good things about yahoo stores, I decided to finally sign up with a yahoo store and see what it is all about. But from what I have seen thus far it looks like you cannot design a site in the traditional way. It appears that you have to use yahoo's wizards and proprietary applications. Is this really the case or am I just not looking in the right places to find out how I can use ftp and build the site with HTML without using an editor?

OK, I did figure out how to ftp into my account. I do however still have some questions pertaining to Yahoo Merchant. As I read about how to integrate the product catalog with your template, it appears that you must create a specific page for each product or group of products displayed together. Is this true? I was under the impression that you could build a database driven site that dynamically creates pages.
