I have over 6 years of experience using PayPal. There is definitely *something* strange going on with PayPal.

1. As far as I can tell, since September 21, all scheduled subscription payments have not been processed. I have a number of active subscriptions that were scheduled to renew that did not. They were not charged, they were not declined, they were not expired, they were not cancelled, they were not modified. The are still active but now overdue (should this even be possible?). For example, I have accounts that look like:

Status: Active
Subscription Date: Sep. 21, 2005
Next Payment Date: Sep. 21, 2006

However, it is the 24th now!

2. Also, over the last week I have received several complaints from customers who are unable to submit payment. My customers don't normally report any problems with PayPal and all who complained had successfully submitted payment via PayPal in the past. Some are reporting seeing "Message 3005".

Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

Similar problem here.

We are using PAYPAL PRO.

All CC transactions since Sep 21st have failed. Same error code across all customers:
"The transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid address."

When we use the CC information and process the transaction manually via VT - it goes through easily. This has happened with over a dozen of so transactions.

Contacted paypal... and they say that the cart is not passing info correctly.

Hi Buldag,

Can you turn on logging in your shopping cart, then save copies of the SOAP request and response documents? This is typically the quickest way to see if it really is a problem with the data being sent by your cart.
