I am so fed up with these darn African fraudsters. Not only do they order and try to get stuff shipped to them, but they order using the stolen credit cards real address just to be annoying. I've had up to $5,000 in fraudelant orders in a single day.

Is it possible to block african traffic by IP? What's it called, Geo Targetting or something? What's a good company that offers this?

Why Nigeria? Probably because this went on 20 years ago using the corrupt post office system there.

You think the Gov't didn't know why sack after sack of mail--some with counterfeit stamps--was going thru the post office en route to the U.S. and W. Europe.

Might I suggest you start shopping for a new CC payment processor? Some of them are starting to do IP validation and decline transactions where the IP doesnt match the country, and there is also a pre-charge screening company that does this plus several other checks.

My cart does a rudimentary GEO check and alerts me to this issue as well if the IP/country don't match. It's not 100% accurate as there are a few occassions when Canada and the US seem to overlap, but other than that it's pretty good at highlighting problem transactions.
