What are primary factors in converting visitors?

Getting ready to test one of my ecommerce sites, and wondering what factors I should be testing. I know the usual suspects, ie headline, button size, button color, type size... What other things should I add to the list?

If you want your site to stand out from the crowd and make an impression, it needs to be friendly, informative and soemwhere that people are happy to leave their money.

Look at your opwn offering through the eyes of a visitor and make sure it's the kind of place you'd feel good about.
