About Paypal and European cards

Have anyone else encountered this pb ?

I have never succeed paying with paypal because it always asked me a password that i have never received. I've done everything they tell me to do and even retry opening an account with another credit card.... but they only charged me, I cannot use my account :(

the 'password' appears on your credit card statement next to the little amount they charged you

Didn't appear on my statement. I asked my back and they said they don't write all the details.
