Do you block your product popups with robots.txt?

I'm wondering what some of your opinions are as to the plusses and minuses of having your product image pop-ups indexed. Do you restrict yours?

My specific reason for asking is that I'm considering changing my robots.txt to allow indexing my image pop-ups (which include product names and Prices). My primary reason for wanting to do so is to have a greater number of pages indexed. (bigger net=more fish logic is a subject for another thread)

What I'm concerned about is whether or not I could incur a duplicate content penalty for having them indexed, or if the main reason people block indexing of pop-ups is that they'd rather not see their pop-ups ranking over their product details page.

You mean the close-up image popup? I have those blocked because they don't have a link back to the website. It's a dead end if anyone gets there from a search engine. I'd much rather they get to a real product page, which has more information, and the ability to order. Yours may be different though.
