Hello,

I am looking to purchase a ready made shopping cart or ecommerce package and pass it on to my developers to make changes too. Therefore the package should allow us to make changes to it.

I am looking for flexibily and features... not just the standard add to cart and etc. If possible it should have plugins like chat, message board, cross sell, easy setup of promotion program, membership that allows a segment of items to be accessible to members for one fee...etc.

My ecommerce business would be to sell software for immediate download (secure). Aside from that I want to sell images and music too (demos features).

Can anyone point me to reputable packages and give pointers on why they are good (if possible with comparison)? Thanks

Also, since I am writing, I am looking to someone to:
1) manage my server (win)
2) do search engine promotion
3) adwords (google)

Thanks

I had a post about a shopping cart solution I have used in the past name CubeCart here.

Why was it deleted?

It was on topic and was a response to the initial post.

What Mod deleted it? Why was it deleted? I am new to this forum and if anything like this had ever happened to me in the past I was emailed or PM'd why it was deleted or edited?

Certainly disconcerting considering the Commercial response was left up. Is this forus one companies marketing tool? If so I need to know this as that will allow me to know if I want to continue as a member.

Sorry just asking questions no offence meant but this is wierd.

Hi

looks like you might be looking for the powerful Oscommerce shopping cart, and if you search about you will find many variants on it and it is free. It is dynamic, keeps database of inventory, customers, invoices, orders...the features are too many to write. Check it out by searching for oscommerce in google (would give you the link, but just read a post about links not being allowed)
