Google Products (Froogle) Replaced with "New Video"

I though Google was trying to endear their company to merchants with the launch of their new "Google Checkout". So why has the Froogle link on their search page been replaced with "Videos"?

The same reason McDonalds launched a "healthy" menu...

youtube etc. are probably seen as bigger threats than shopping.com etc.

froogle never took off, though - when it first came out, we all thought it would change web shopping forever - just the idea of being able to sort prices low to high for a given item put shivers into lots of us merchants...
