Hello, i was wondering if i could sell a copy of a REAL CD ( real meaning i will ship them the actual cd of a famous artist ) and when they purchase the CD, i will also send them a link to where they can download the music as soon as they purchase it. Would this be legal?

In the US, you would have to have a permission (license) of the artist/distributor/record company (whoever owned the rights) to do that.

alright thanks for the quick reply. I will post my second question here, and i am not sure if i am asking in the right area or if people can even answer it. I can't seem to find a place where i can buy media like CD's and DVD's in bulk. Can anyone point me in the right direction? it would need to be a popular artist.

Not really my field, but my guess is you need to start with the artist, locate the record company that produced the CD, then contact them to find their local distributor.

All the major labels use separate and independent music distribution companies that handle sales to retailers. There are 2 or 3 very large music distribution companies which you can set up an account with. There are also smaller ones that specialize in genres or particular smaller labels. Try doing a search to find the ones that best fit your needs as a retailer.
