I bought something from a potential competitor site, the item was only $5 and fit inside a 8x4 bubble envelop, shipping cost the company ONLY .9 cents US! The item arrived to my door in maybe 7-8 days. (it was shipped regular mail, no tracking).

Now from what I have been told, I could compete with shipping times by using Canada Post expressPost service which costs around $13-25 US (or $15-30 canadian $) and gets to almost anywhere in the us in about 3-5 days. I know eBay gives a 30% discount so that takes the cost down to a $9-17.5 USD.

I spoke with someone and they said some people who do large volume just ship the products pass the border to buffalo and then ship from there, what kind of companies would do this service?

"shipping cost the company ONLY .9 cents US!"

What do you mean? 9/10th of a cent to ship! No one ships that cheaply.

Clarify your post. Where are you located? 7-8 days?

Hi,

sorry for the confusion.

I live in Canada (toronto), I ordered something from the US (texas).

The cost was $.90 and took about 7-8 days using air mail.
