San Jose-based PayPal Inc. today announced it will open a new technology development center in Scottsdale, Arizona and plans to hire hundreds of local technical professionals in the coming year."PayPal has distinguished itself as an innovative leader in the payments industry," said Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano. "Arizona can be proud that PayPal has selected our State as a place where it can continue to grow its business, and deliver secure and convenient online payment services for millions of Internet customers and businesses."
Yep, the executives at these companies laud liberalism/socialism (Google in particular), but when it comes to paying the bills those policies require, they balk by moving their tax bases towards lower tax regions. Of course, this will allow those companies to invest more in their own R&D - which is always a good idea.
People are moving out too, as are non-tech companies.
