I am a non-US, non- EU based merchant, currently using 2checkout.com for credit card processing. Despite many comments on the contrary, I have found them pretty reliable and easy to deal with. However, I would like to have a backup processor, in case of extensive DDOS
attack or sudden change of rules for international merchants (I am talking from experience here - I used to have paysystems.com as my processor, until they suddenly closed down access to internationl merchants, which cost me pretty penny, because I was unable to accept payments for several weeks)
I am not opposed to having an actual merchant account, but it doesn't seem possible with the following requirements:
- (a single) product sold is software (both CD and download
- need to be able to settle to non-US bank (do not have / do not want US business account)
- need to accept Visa /MC / AMEXP / Discover /echecks
- am willing to pay relatively high discount fees (i.e. 5%)
- need to be able to process $30K+ monthly.
- would like to have a simple html setup for a single "buy" button; no shopping cart required
2checkout.com can do all of the above. If you know of another processor with similar capabilities, I am all ears.
