Payment gateway recommendations

Good ones, not-so-good ones, horrible ones, etc.

We are currently looking at purchasing an account from a payment gateway to process credit card transactions, does anyone have any
recommendations? Good vendors? Which ones to stay away from? Which ones to run away from?

Any thoughts on LinkPoint, AuthorizeNet, Verisign, or IntelliPay would be especially welcome.

Authnet is the most popular, but Linkpoint and Verisign are both more reliable.
