Greetings Everybody.

Currently I am in the process of making a jewelry online website. I got my payment system powered by 2co

I would like to ask if those trust seals programs/vendors worth it?

such as BBBonline and truste (etc.) suggestions or comments are welcome.

what are the pro(s) and the con(s)

They're worthless, IMHO.

A clearly stated guarantee policy is worth more.

I totally agree. If you are using 2CO, you're better off using the money for a trust seal towards the fees for a more trustworthy merchant svcs. provider.

What about the 'Hacker Safe' seal? They make big claims for increasing sales, is there any merit to their claims?

The "Hacker Safe" seals looks like a challenge to me. ;)

Seriously, I wouldn't mention the word "Hacker" anywhere in proximity to "credit card" if I was trying to make a sale. It just puts the wrong kind of imagery into the customers mind.

Some SSL cert comes with free security "trust" seal. If it's free, then why not use it? But don't buy 'em.
